The Center is seeking a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, dynamic, and academically excellent candidate to fill the below position.

HKCRC is an innovation research center aiming to bring advanced robotics and AI technologies to the construction industry. Jointly established by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), University of California, Berkeley (UCB), and Tsinghua University, we conduct transformative research and nurture innovative engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions and prototypes to tackle immediate and emerging industrial and societal challenges in construction.

Currently, the Center is conducting projects in but not limited to the following directions:

  • Robotics SLAM
  • Robotics Motion Control
  • Robotics Decision Planning
  • Machine Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision
  • Multi Sensor Fusion (Visual, Lidar, IMU, etc.)
  • Robotics Mechanical Structure Design
  • Embedded System

 

Job Description

The appointee will be responsible for:

  • Formulate and implement the plan for souring entrepreneurial talent;
  • Arrange training for entrepreneurial talent;
  • Organize entrepreneurial project meetings;
  • Encounter problems and coordinate resources with the entrepreneurial team.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in engineering, building, or construction-related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager.  Experience in engineering, building, or construction company is preferred;
  • Experience in robotics and BIM is preferred;
  • Proficient in relevant software and good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Working Location

Hong Kong Center for Construction Robotics, the Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP) in Shatin, with occasional traveling to Clear Water Bay Campus as required.

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive of international standards and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract, and is renewable subject to performance, mutual agreement, and funding availability.

The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
