Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Design and implement spacecraft thermal control solutions.
    开展航天器热控方案的设计和实施。

  2. Perform thermal simulation analysis to evaluate the thermal performance of equipment or systems under various operating conditions.
    进行热仿真分析，评估设备或系统在各种工作条件下的热性能。

  3. Assist in the development of thermal management strategies and recommend improvements to ensure equipment reliability in high temperature environments.
    协助制定热管理策略，提出改进建议以确保设备在高温环境下的可靠性。

  4. Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues in thermal design to support manufacturing and product validation.
    与团队合作，解决热设计中的技术问题，支持生产制造和产品验证。

 

Requirements

  1. Degree (Master or above) in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering or other related disciplines, with minimum 2 years’ experience related to product thermal design.
    机械工程、热能工程或相关专业硕士及以上学历，具备两年以上产品热设计相关经验。

  2. Familiar with thermal control theory and techniques, with ability to use thermal simulation software.
    熟悉热管理原理和技术手段，具备热仿真软件的应用能力。

  3. Strong problem solving skills and innovative, able to independently complete thermal design tasks.
    具备较强的问题解决能力和创新意识，能够独立完成热设计任务。

  4. Good team player with communication skills, be responsible and able to work under pressure / in a fast-paced environment.
    良好的团队合作精神和沟通能力，有责任心和抗压能力。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
