Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Spacecraft energy subsystem power controller design, simulation analysis, design verification and development, etc.;
    负责航天器能源分系统电源控制器设计、仿真分析、方案验证和开发等工作

  2. Spacecraft power controller component selection, production, test design, product acceptance and testing, etc;
    负责航天器电源控制器元器件选型、产品投产、试验设计、产品验收及测试等；

  3. Preparation of design and test related documents;
    负责设计和试验文件的编制；

  4. Completing other tasks assigned by the project team.
    完成项目团队分配的其他工作。

 

Requirements

  1. Degree (Master or above), with minimum 3 years’ power controller design experience;
    硕士及以上，3年以上电源控制器设计经验；

  2. Strong theory foundation and design knowledge on MPPT, S3R, etc., and familiar with power system testing process and methods;
    掌握MPPT、S3R等原理及电路设计方法，熟悉电源系统测试流程和方法；

  3. Familiar with the selection of power modules, relays, etc., and understand the core performance of solar cells and batteries;
    熟悉电源模块、继电器等选用，了解太阳电池、蓄电池主要性能；

  4. Experience in spacecraft power controller design is a plus.
    具备航天器电源控制器设计经验优先。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
