Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Responsible for the subsystem overall design and development of spacecraft communication (telemetry, tracking and command) and data link (transmission) system;
    负责航天器测控、数传系统的总体方案设计及抓总研制工作；

  2. Documentation of the subsystem design and test process and other related technical documents. The system testing and environmental testing;
    负责测控通信系统设计、测试等文件编制，系统产品测试和环境试验工作；

  3. Coordinate and organize spacecraft communication and data link system, including ground stations;
    负责航天器天地测控系统的协调和组织实施

  4. Partner with the system engineering team to conduct project assessment and design.
    配合总体开展项目论证和设计工作；

 

Requirements

  1. Degree (Master or above), with minimum 3 years’ communication, telemetry, tracking and command, radio-frequency, or related experience;
    硕士及以上，具有3年以上测控、射频和通信相关工作经验；

  2. Familiar with aerospace communication products, such as antennas, receivers, transmitters, amplifiers, etc., with relevant product R&D or system integration experience;
    熟悉航天通信产品，如天线、接收机、发射机、功放等，有相关产品研制或系统集成经验。

  3. Strong understanding of communication (telemetry and control) system test procedures and methods.
    掌握测控通信系统测试流程和方法。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
