Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Spacecraft integrated electronic subsystem architecture design, including central processing unit, communication (telemetry and control), power distribution, etc.;
    负责航天器综合电子系统架构设计，包括中央处理单元、测控、配电、通信等；

  2. Component/Unit design of electronic subsystem；
    负责综合电子单机设计；

  3. Partner with the system engineering team to conduct project assessment, design, and testing at different phase, spacecraft in orbit operation, etc.;
    配合总体开展项目论证、方案设计和各阶段的测试试验、航天器在轨运管等工作；

  4. Documentation of the design and test process and other related technical documents.
    完成项目研制和试验过程中相关技术文件的编制；

 

Requirements

  1. Strong foundation in the design of spacecraft electronic subsystem, with minimum 3 years’ design experience, and Master of above degree;
    掌握航天器综合电子系统设计，3年以上设计经验，硕士及以上学历；

  2. Familiar with the core performance of CPU, Flash, FPGA and other major products, and able to carry out hardware design;
    熟悉CPU、Flash、FPGA等主要产品性能，能够开展硬件设计；

  3. Familiar with command and data handling software requirement and design;
    熟悉数管或星务软件需求和设计；

  4. Experience in aerospace electrical system engineering is a strong plus.
    具备航天电气系统总体经验优先。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
