Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Responsible for circuit scheme design, component selection, schematic design, circuit analysis and simulation;
    负责电路方案设计、器件选型、原理图设计以及电路分析及仿真

  2. Responsible for circuit debugging and testing;
    负责电路的调试和测试；

  3. Collaborate with software team to ensure efficient collaboration between hardware and embedded system.
    与软件团队协作，确保硬件与嵌入式系统的高效协作

 

Requirements

  1. Familiar with circuit hardware design, skilled in simulation and design tools, can carry out PCB design independently;
    熟悉硬件电路设计，熟练使用仿真工具和设计工具，能否独立开展PCB设计

  2. Familiar with analog circuit design, including switching power supply, LDO, operational amplifiers, ADC / DAC;
    熟悉模拟电路设计，包括开关电源，LDO、运算放大器、ADC/DAC

  3. Familiar with MCU/FPGA/SOC/DSP and other micro systems, external memory, clocks, digital interfaces, protection circuits and other basic circuit design
    熟悉MCU/FPGA/SOC/DSP等小系统、外部存储器、时钟、数字接口、防护电路等基本电路设计

  4. Skilled in the use of common test equipment, can develop basic test code;
    熟练使用常用测试设备，可开发基本测试代码；

  5. Degree (Bachelor or above) with strong foundation in digital, analog, power electronics and other related knowledge;
    本科及以上，熟练掌握数电、模电、电力电子等相关知识；

  6. Aerospace hardware design experience is a plus.
    具有航天硬件设计经验优先。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
