Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Responsible for embedded system program design, architecture design, coding implementation and debugging;
    负责嵌入式系统的方案设计、架构设计、编码实现和调试

  2. Use of RTOS to develop the embedded system, ensuring real-time and stable system;
    使用RTOS进行嵌入式系统开发，确保系统的实时性和稳定性

  3. Responsible for software testing and related documentation.
    负责软件的测试以及相关文档编制；

 

Requirements

  1. Degree (Bachelor or above) with minimum 3 years’ embedded software development experience;
    嵌入式软件开发经验3年及以上，本科及以上学历；

  2. Familiar with RTOS, able to develop and debug in real-time operating system environment.
    熟悉RTOS系统，能够在实时操作系统环境下进行开发和调试

  3. Proficient in C/C++ programming language, with good coding habits and style;
    精通C/C++编程语言，具备良好的编码习惯和风格；

  4. Familiar with CAN/SPI/I2C/UART and other common peripheral protocols.
    熟悉CAN/SPI/I2C/UART等常用外设协议

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
