Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Administration, the Assistant Human Resources Manager will be responsible for talent requisition/ development, personnel and administration functions of HKSRE.
major responsibilities
- Design and implement talent requisition projects and activities including career expos and open house visits, recruitment talks/ seminars/ workshops, research talent programmes etc. in collaboration with universities, industry and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain contents of corporate website and corporate account of recruitment platforms and social media channels to attract research talents.
- Provide support to and manage the administration of staff/ student development programmes and relevant funding scheme(s) to facilitate the research synergy and effective communication/ exchanges within the HKSRE community.
- Manage human resources matters and the full spectrum of administration function of the Center including office supplies and maintenance, facilities and record management, meetings and logistics. support services, etc. to deliver quality services and ensure relevant operations in compliance with internal policy and guidelines.
- Assist in preparing regular management reports and providing secretarial support to legal board/ committees.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including some years at a supervisory level.
- Experience in talent requisition and project management.
- Previous working experience in public sector organizations or higher education institutions is preferred.
- Experience in PeopleSoft ERP System an advantage.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Strong analytical, organizational abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Remuneration and COnditions of Service
Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract with a duration of 2 years or above, where applicable.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable subject to performance, mutual agreement, and funding availability)
The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
