Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Plan, design and implement spacecraft/robots final assembly.
    负责航天器/机器人总装的规划、设计和实施。

  2. Prepare technical process, requirements, outline and other related technical documents for spacecraft/robot final assembly.
    编制航天器/机器人总装技术流程、要求、大纲等相关技术文件。

  3. Coordinate the work of various departments during the project to ensure compliance of progress and quality requirements of final assembly.
    项目进行过程中，协调各部门工作，确保工程进度和质量符合总装要求。

  4. Participate in project on site management, supervise project progress, and coordinate with various departments to solve problems in the final assembly process.
    参与工程现场管理，监督工程进度，协调各部门解决总装过程中的问题。

 

Requirements

  1. Degree (Bachelor or above) in structure related disciplines, candidates with experiences of spacecraft final assembly design is preferred.
    结构类相关专业本科及以上学历，具备航天器总装设计经验优先。

  2. Familiar with the final assembly process and techniques of spacecraft, aircraft, robots and automotive products.
    熟悉航天器、航空器、机器人、汽车类产品之一总装流程和工艺。

  3. Proficient in using mechanical design software, familiar with engineering project management tools, strong problem solving skillsets.
    熟练运用机械设计软件，熟悉工程项目管理工具，具备较强的问题解决能力。

  4. Good team player with communication skills, be responsible and able to work under pressure / in a fast-paced environment.
    良好的团队合作精神和沟通能力，有责任心和抗压能力。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
