Hong Kong Space Robotics and Energy Centre Limited (HKSRE) is a new InnoHK R&D Centre established in January 2025 specializing in developing multifunctional operation robot with mobile charging capability. With The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as the leading institution in collaboration with local and international institutions, HKSRE aims to contribute to national space missions, promote the application of space technology and advance aerospace research and development in Hong Kong.

 

responsibilities 

  1. Responsible for the design of spacecraft GNC sub-system, to ensure the system design comply with project requirements and relevant standards.
    负责航天器GNC分系统方案设计，确保系统设计符合项目需求和标准要求。

  2. Responsible for detailed design and engineering implementation of the control subsystem, and organize subsystem integration and debugging.
    负责控制分系统的详细方案设计和工程实施，组织分系统集成和调试工作。

  3. Conduct performance evaluation and optimization of control subsystem, and propose improvements to ensure system stability and reliability.
    进行控制分系统的性能评估和优化，提出改进建议以确保系统稳定性和可靠性。

  4. Work with the team to solve technical problems in control system design and operation.
    与团队合作，解决控制系统设计与作业过程中的技术问题。

 

Requirements

  1. Degree (Master or above) in automation, electrical engineering or other related disciplines, with minimum 5 years’ experience related to control system design.
    自动化、电气工程或相关专业硕士及以上学历，具备5年以上控制系统设计经验。

  2. Experience in detailed design, implementation and debug of control systems for complex engineering projects such as spacecraft, robots, self-driving cars, etc.
    具备航天器、机器人、自动驾驶汽车等复杂工程项目控制系统详细设计、实现和调试经验。

  3. Strong problem solving and team management skills, able to lead a team to complete control system design.
    具备较强的问题解决能力和团队管理能力，能够带领团队完成控制系统设计任务。

  4. Good team player with communication skills, be responsible and able to work under pressure / in a fast-paced environment.
    良好的团队合作精神和沟通能力，有责任心和抗压能力。

 

Remuneration and COnditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
